His winemaker vision is simple and pragmatic: maintain absolute respect for nature and each vineyard, and that the “terroir” is the essence of each wine. Working both with large and very small parcel owners, it is essential to have a deep knowledge of each soil and vineyard, as to discover in each vintage new inspiration, and your path to obtain the most expressive wine.
Both new and old school, Antonio has a broad vision of the vast wine world - extensively traveling and studying vineyards around the world, and applying learned technique at home.
The Revista de Vinhos magazine choose him as “Winemaker of the year 2013.”
